What we store in your browser, and what you can do about it.

There is no cookie banner on this site, and there is nothing on this page to switch off. That is not an oversight — it is because we set no optional cookies at all. Everything below is needed to make the site work, and there is no tracking to consent to.

What we store

• A session cookie. It keeps you signed in and keeps your cart attached to you as you move between pages. Without it you could not sign in or check out.
• A security token. It proves that a form you submitted came from this site and not from someone else's, which is what stops a third-party page from acting as you.
• Your language choice, kept in the same session, so the site does not forget it on the next page.

That is the entire list. All three expire when your session does.

What we do not store

• No analytics of any kind. There is no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no self-hosted metrics.
• No advertising cookies, no retargeting pixels, no conversion tags. There is no advertising on this site.
• No cross-site tracking and no profile of what you looked at.

Other companies, when you use their features

• YouTube — course lessons and programme videos play in an embedded player. We use youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube's own privacy-enhanced mode, which does not set its usual tracking cookies until you actually play something. Once you press play, YouTube's own terms and storage apply.
• Razorpay — when you pay, the payment happens on Razorpay's side and their cookies and policy apply there.
• A public script CDN serves two libraries this site uses: the small framework that makes menus and tabs work, and the reader that displays ebook pages. Fetching a file tells that server your IP address, as any request does; it sets no cookie for us.

Your choices

Your browser can block or clear cookies for this site whenever you like — every browser has this in its settings, usually under Privacy.

Be aware what that costs here: blocking the session cookie means you cannot sign in, cannot keep a cart, and cannot check out. Since none of our cookies track you, blocking them buys you no privacy — it only removes the ability to buy something.

If this changes

If we ever add anything optional — analytics, or anything that follows you — we will ask first, and this page will change before it appears. The date at the top is how you can tell.
